Midnight Walk, 11^th September 2010

With a new route, that doesn’t involve any stiles, the 2010 East Cheshire Hospice Midnight Walk is set to be the best yet.

Last year 1,000 walkers took to the streets of Macclesfield and not only had a fantastic night but in the process raised over £110,000 for the hospice.

 With over £180,000 raised from the 2008 and 2009 walks, this moon-lit event is the biggest fundraiser in the hospice calendar and is already a firm favourite amongst hospice supporters and the residents of Macclesfield.

The Midnight walk will start this year at Macclesfield Leisure Centre (not at the hospice as previously advertised,). With a new route that stretches out to Gawsworth, this year’s walk is set to light up the countryside with its flashing bunny ears and electric atmosphere.
